So far, the people behind Transit Antenna ( have traveled 17,000 miles in their vegetable oil-fueled bus, and there could be that many more to go by the time they finish. But that’s the price you pay — that is, the price of smelling fried food all the time — for art. Bob Snead, Seth Gadsden, and Jamie Self, early founders of the Redux Contemporary Art Center, decided to take their vision on the road earlier this year and take on the biggest project they’ve ever done that also involved their families.
