[image-1][image-2]Here’s the Wrap:

• Barry Bonds is three away from Hank Aaron’s record. Wonder if Tonya Harding’s goons have been put on retainer yet.

• Apparently, it has to be said: Don’t take a nap in the wheel well of an airplane. Nobody knows you’re there until they find your gross body days later.

It appeared to be the body of a male, based on clothing, but the gender was not entirely clear, airport spokesman Michael McCarron said.

• Ambassador Ryan Crocker tried to garner support for the surge in Iraq by offering … bad news.

“If there is one word I would use to sum up the atmosphere in Iraq — on the streets, in the countryside, in the neighborhoods and at the national level — that word would be fear.”

Well it’s better than tall tales and half-accomplishments.

• Meanwhile, Canadians have mastered checkers.

• The Emmy nominations are out. Lost lost, but that one was going to Sopranos anyway.

• It’s Duke vs. iPhone.

Bill Cannon, a Duke technology spokesman, said an analysis of traffic found that iPhones flooded parts of the campus’ wireless network with access requests, freezing parts of the system for 10 minutes at a time.

I got to see one in person yesterday. If I had to choose between Duke and the iPhone, I’d transfer.
