CNN executives aren’t saying which questions will be used in Monday’s debate from those submitted to YouTube, but they did eliminate one of the more than 1,500 — Mayor Joe Riley’s.

In the short video, Riley asked what the candidates would be doing for fun while they were in Charleston.

David Bohrman, senior VP at CNN, said Friday that Riley’s question was thrown out of the pile.

“We figure the mayor has access to the candidates,” Bohrman said.

Riley didn’t seem to upset over it, jokingly denying the video’s very existence.

After Florence Mayor Frank Willis announced his endorsement for Hillary Clinton, we asked Riley if he would be endorsing a candidate and he said no — maybe.

“I have no plans to,” he said. Then adding, “That’s not to say I wouldn’t. I’m looking and listening and meeting, but I haven’t decided yet.”
