On the menu were some Lowcountry staples like fried chicken and barbecue, but even more local was the Frogmore Stew. Otherwise known as Lowcountry Broil, the stew is a mix of shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn on the cob. You can spot those who are not local because they’ll pick out the shrimp or the potatoes or a lone ear of corn. Come on, journalists, lets get a little adventurous.
