20th Anniversary Special Event!

George Balanchine had created over 400 works and was recognized as a 20th century master alongside Picasso and Stravinsky. The man who would one day rank among the greatest choreographers in the history of ballet came to the United States. The legacy left by Balanchine when he died remains as profound as it is extensive.

Charleston Ballet Theatre will celebrate with the homecoming of SERENADE with music by Tchaikovsky, the dazzling American flavor of WHO CARES? with music by George Gershwin, and the CBT premiere of RUBIES, the last Balanchine masterpiece to the music of Igor Stravinsky.
