This just in: still in the midst of their hot youth, Charleston-based pop/rock act Band of Horses packed the Music Farm last month and return for an encore at the venue on Sun. Feb. 10 with support from Cass McCombs & The Middle Class and recently-enlisted Band of Horses multi-instrumentalist Tyler Ramsey (pictured at bottom right). Wow (reprise).

The event was originally scheduled for Tues. Feb. 12 at the Village Tavern. According to promoter Trey Lofton, that “fan club-only” show was absolutely sold out. The Horses leave for a tour of the UK and Europe in late February. Doors open at 7 p.m. on Sunday; music starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are available for $20 ($18 adv.) through the Music Farm box office (843-577-6969) or online through E-tix.

No word on how many classic, triple-guitar, Southern rock hits by the likes of Molly Hatchet, .38 Special, Skynyrd, Blackfoot, and The Outlaws frontman Ben Bridwell and company may attempt (everyone knows these guys are dyin’ to morph into a full-on, Battle Flag-flyin’, “Freebird”-coverin’ revivalist act, come on!).
