Charleston alt-rock band The Working Title (replete with shaggier haircuts) headline an unusually “all-acoustic,” all-ages Valentine’s Day show at Theatre 99 (280 Meeting St.) at 7:30 p.m. on Thurs. Feb. 14. Guitarist Adam Pavao, singer/guitarist Joel Hamilton, and drummer Ross Taylor toured heavily last summer along with newly-enlisted bassist Chris Gingrich and guitarist Matt Podesla. The core trio celebrate the release of an acoustic-based EP titled Heart (how appropriate is the title and the date?).

“Due to many people requesting that we provide the Heart EP in compact disc form, we have decided to print a small quantity of them for you lucky few who might put your hands on one,” read a recent press release from the Title. “We’ll have them available soon in our online store. It will be completely unplugged and like nothing you’ve ever seen or heard before.”

Tickets are $15 advance (from www.etix.com) and $17 at the door. (photo by David Sullivan)
