i was initially going to make this a hate on my incompetent modeling agency, instead i’m going to love on the best boutique in town. i was invited to a model casting on sunday buy the buyer of the store. she approached me while out the other night and told me i was exactly the kind of look they wanted. I was flattered and intrigued of course. i had never been to this particular store because it’s in mount pleasant and i dont usually cross over the bridge from downtown. i have always heard mixed reviews about the store and its staff and then i recieved notice from my modeling agency saying that should anyone attend this casting, their contracts would be dropped. so now i had to go, just to see what all this chatter was about. and i have to say, i was beyond impressed. this store is the hottest spot in town. i would hate on it too if i was a competitor. there is no need for king street shopping once you’ve discovered what this place has to offer. the casting went super smoothly. i came in, went to a waiting area in the back with the other models, they called my name, took a few polaroids, had me walk and i was done. no one in this town has ever been that professional for any of the work i’ve done, so there was the first thing my agency was wrong about. the store was filled with customers who are in love with the girl in charge. she works a room like ive never seen. her style is right on point, and everyone wants to be her friend. from what i can tell, the runway show is going to best thing this town has ever seen. these people are way to good at what they do. i am officially a fan and cant wait for all the haters to realize what they missed out on. as for the agency, how did you think keeping me away from this event was in my best interest? are you trying to sabotage my career?
