The leaves aren’t really turning, and the air’s not getting crisp, but hey — it’s still October! Indulge your festive side this weekend as Charleston goes fall-crazy.

Friday. Kick off Halloween month at Boone Hall Fright Nights. The haunted event features four different attractions. Also be sure to check out the Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch for a pumpkin patch, family hayrides and all around family fun. If you’re ready for a ghost hunt, try the Paranormal Investigation of the Old City Jail.

Listen to live music and nibble away while you browse the goods at the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired Oyster Roast, Pig Pickin’ and Auction. Sip champagne, view artwork and get a mini-makeover at the Shop Fashion and Art with Cynthia Rowley event.

Saturday. Festivals abound today. Let the spooky fun continue at the Halloween Extravaganza at St. Paul’s Academy. You’ll find paintball, a rock wall and both a haunted house and a haunted hayride, with kiddie versions too. Groove with other jam band fans under the oaks at the TreeFest! Reggae Festival going down on Friday and Saturday. At the Awendaw Blue Crab Festival, learn all about the critters and eat some too. Boogie down on Bogard at the Elliotborough Block Party. Logtoberfest will have you set with an oyster roast, BBQ and live music.

THREE Oktoberfests are going down, a huge one at Blackbaud Stadium, one at Gene’s Haufbrau and CFB’s at the Royal American.

Go for the long haul at the Whole Foods Yoga Marathon for Louie’s Kids, where you’ll join other yogis attempting to perform 108 sun salutations.

Sunday. If you didn’t get your festival fill Saturday, head to the Latin American Festival for live salsa and merengue music as well as authentic food and crafts. See the MOJA Arts Festival: Finale. Or, get in one more Oktoberfest at Blackbaud Stadium.

Test your sea legs as you dance away the evening aboard the Carolina Queen for the Feline Freedom’s To the Nines fundraiser. Keep the good will going and paddle through the marshes at the Breast Cancer Awareness Kayak Trip. Finally, get your fill at the Pearlz Oyster Roast on the Patio.
