Kimana Littleflower & Legare Queen, owners of The Junction Kitchen & Provisions, were recent victims of a house fire, and now fellow members of the Park Circle community will join forces to benefit the couple on Sun. June 7 at The Sparrow (1078 E. Montague Ave.). The family, including their one-year-old daughter, are all fine.

Beginning at 1 p.m., the event will be family friendly until it rocks into the night with live music from Lost at Sea and Fiend Club. A few special guests will also be in attendance. “We have invited all of the firemen who went back into the house six times,” says Cami Kind, owner of the Sparrow.

Good eats from the ‘hood’s Barbeque Joint will be on hand, and donations for a silent auction have been pouring in from supporters all over Charleston, including gift certificates from Park Pizza, Fly Dog Fitness, EVO, and Jack of Cups Saloon; jui jitsu packages from Cool After School; art prints from Dos Banditos, Ink Meets Paper, and Krista Engler; a Mars Attacks painting from Philip Hyman; a basket from Orange Spot Coffeehouse; jewelry by Nikkie Duke Corriher; and a reclaimed-wood mirror from Michael Moyer.

More bands will be announced throughout the week on the event’s Facebook page here. If you’d like to donate to the silent auction, contact Alison Ross at info@alisonbrynnross.com.
