“It’s tragic, what happened, and we’re here to support the community,” says Bryan Kestner, producer of Bravo’s Southern Charm. J.D. Madison, a sometimes guest on the show and owner of Sermet’s Downtown, will help the cast and other sponsors put on a three-course dinner at Sermet’s this Sunday, July 19. Tickets are $100 a head and 100 percent of proceeds will go to the AME fund.
The cast will greet guests as they enter Sermet’s, and the Joe Clarke Band and trumpeter and composer Charlton Singleton will provide the live music. There will be an open bar along with the meal.
“The cast is excited to be able to give back,” says Kestner, noting that this event is “something we should be doing anyway.”
There’s a 300 person limit for the dinner, which has two seatings at 6 and 9 p.m. Call (843) 853-7775 to reserve seats
