Downtowners are just days away from enjoying elena ruz, pan con lechon, and media noche sandwiches. Lisbeth and Manuel Rodriguez confirm their new restaurant Cortaditos Cuban Cafe will open on Thurs. Oct. 29.

The restaurant at 616 Meeting St. will serve traditional Cuban fare for breakfast and lunch from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mon. through Sat. as well as Venezuelan pastries. For a look at the full menu, click here.
