[image-1]The Charleston Symphony Orchestra recently announced its 2016-2017 season, its 80th in the Holy City. The CSO will kick off the season on Sept. 10 with an opening night gala and live dinner auction, featuring conductor Ken Lam and pianists Leon Fleisher and Katherine Jacobson.

As the season progresses, music lovers can look forward to nine symphonies, a renewed chamber music series, Cirque de La Symphonie, pre-concert talks with Maestro Ken Lam, and three holiday concerts.

The 80th season also offers patrons the opportunity to subscribe for a reduced price and purchase seats before they go on sale to the public. The deal also comes with free ticket exchanges, free trade in tickets for a later concert, VIP ticket service, and priority tickets for special events. Head here for more info.
