[image-1]In case y’all haven’t noticed, the RiverDogs have been pretty hot lately, and we’re not just talking about stud baseball players sweatin’ in uniform. The ‘Dogs finished up their regular season earlier this week with a big win over the Columbia Fireflies, ending the year with a winning record of 76-63, the best since 2007.

The postseason starts tonight when the RiverDogs take on the Rome Braves at an away game, and continues on Fri. Sept. 9 at home, with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Friday’s game, presented by Benefitfocus, features a Gold Out T-shirt giveaway, with all fans receiving a playoff T-shirt.

And you know how much everyone loves The Joe’s Thirsty Thursdays, right? Well, Charleston, we’re in luck, because this playoff game will be a Thirsty Friday, with cold dollar beers served in the Ashley View Pub. Fireworks will follow the game. Get your tickets here
