Two employees of Taqueria La Jarocha were hospitalized following a shooting Monday night at 1907 Remount Road.
According to an incident report from the North Charleston Police Department, the 47-year-old victim told police that they were working in the food truck when around 9 p.m. a “white truck with a tool box” pulled into the parking lot. Shorty after spotting the truck, she heard gunshots and fell to the floor. A bullet struck her arm and shards of broken glass fell on her from rounds hitting the front window. She was taken to Trident ER.
The other victim, a 57-year-old, reported that as she went to turn on the stove, rounds fired through the food truck. The victim suffered a graze wound to her head and shoulder and was taken to MUSC.
