SC Harm Reduction Coalition is offering free fentanyl tests, hoping the tests will curb the rise in opioid deaths. Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid that is 80 to 100 times stronger than morphine, is often mixed with other drugs to make them more potent and is looked to as one of the causes of the opioid epidemic.
