Graham wants to fill Supreme Court vacancy. In a call with the S.C. Republican Party Chairman, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham said “We’re going to get four more years and by the time it’s over, it’ll be the Donald Trump court.” Source: Charlotte Observer
Graham’s “use my words against me” used against him. In 2016, Graham said “I want you to use my words against me. If there’s a Republican president in 2016 and a vacancy occurs in the last year of the first term, you can say Lindsey Graham said let’s let the next president, whoever it might be, make that nomination, and you could use my words against me and you’d be absolutely right. Federal judge strikes down witness requirement for absentee ballots, could still be appealed. U.S. District Court Judge Michelle Childs struck down the requirement that South Carolina voters have a witness sign their absentee ballots, citing the increased risk due to COVID-19.
