Boeing planning more cuts. Due to the financial hit Boeing has taken during the pandemic, the company will lay off an additional 14,000 workers, 30,000 total, through the end of next year. The layoffs would represent about 19 percent of their workforce. Source: P&C
Charleston reviewing new hotel plans. Charleston’s Board of Architectural Review has put plans for a new Aloft hotel back on review. The hotel would be between Cannon and Spring streets at the site of a former Wendy’s. Source: WCSC
