House of Brews will close its Mount Pleasant location on Ben Sawyer Boulevard at the end of June, ownership announced in a Facebook post June 16. The local-favorite bar/craft beer emporium celebrated its 10th anniversary Thursday with a pig and chicken pickin’ event.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce that this month will be the last month of business for House of Brews Mt. Pleasant,” owner Rob Davis wrote. “We knew that with the sale of the property last year our remaining time here was short, and due to factors out of our control, that time has come sooner than we would’ve liked.”
House of Brews’ West Ashley outpost welcomed customers for the first time in 2019 at 2376 Ashley River Road, and “is definitely still open for business,” Davis wrote in his post.
