Spooky season is upon us, and that means it’s time to break out your best pet costumes for our annual pet photo contest.
This year, the City Paper Halloween Pet Photo Contest features six categories:
- Funniest
- Most Creative
- Best Sports Fan
- Prettiest
- Most Handsome
- Best Exotic Pet (for lizards, birds and other exotic animals)
- Most Naturally Scary
Get your furry friend all dressed up and show us your little monster!
Submit your best pet photos for a chance to win two free tickets to next year’s Best of Charleston 2023 Party. Second place overall winner receives a gift card to a local restaurant, and honorable mentions will be printed alongside winners.
Whether you’ve got a smol floof or a derpy doggo, send us your pet’s best shot. You know, the kind that makes you want to reach out and boop that little nose.
To enter, your pet doesn’t necessarily have to be in costume but should fit with the Halloween theme. (Let’s face it — some of our pets are just naturally spooky… in the best way possible, of course.)
You may enter as many times as you would like.
Winners in each category will be published in the City Paper’s Halloween Issue on Oct. 26 and submissions will be viewable online.
Entries must be submitted online by 12 p.m. Oct. 21, 2022.
