Charleston’s 98 Rock proudly presents their fifth annual outdoor concert 98 Rockfest (previously known as Live X) on Sun. April 3 at the Exchange Park Fairgrounds (9850 Hwy. 78).

The concert will feature the bands Stone Sour (from Des Moines, Iowa), Canada’s Theory of a Deadman, Pennsylvania’s Halestorm, Memphis-based Christian rock band Skillet, Canada’s Art of Dying, and local rock quartet Madam Adam, who recently signed to Roadrunner Records. Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, and Halestorm are playing the concert as a part of their Avalanche Tour.

The station will be teaming up with Lowcountry Food Bank. They encourage attendees to bring canned food and monetary donations to the concert in exchange for raffle tickets, which will be drawn throughout the event for signed merchandise and prizes. Pre-sale tickets are available this week for fans of 98 Rock’s Facebook page only.

Regular $25 tickets will go on sale Fri. Jan. 28 for one week. After that, advance tickets will be available at etix.com for $33 or $25 for those with military IDs. Admission is $45 at the gate on the day of the concert. For more information, visit my98rock.com. —Cullen Lea
