Five months after hosting their annual Rockfest (previously known as Live X), Charleston radio station 98 Rock will present another all-day, outdoor music festival in September. FallFest is set for Sun. Sept. 11 at the Exchange Park Fairgrounds in Ladson (9850 Hwy. 78).

The concert will feature such modern rock stalwarts as Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, P.O.D., Red, Crossfade, and Drive A — all of whom are playing the concert as a part of their Rock Allegiance Tour, which kicks off in Dallas on Aug. 24.

Buckcherry lead vocalist Josh Todd said in a recent press release, “Buckcherry is ready to join forces with our friends for some fun in the sun that doesn’t stress your wallet. Come out and rock with us.”

Organizer Right Arm Entertainment’s Del Williams added, “The Rock Allegiance Tour pledges an unforgettable evening of loud riffs and cheap tickets for rock fans across America. With seven bands and discounted ticket prices on every tour stop, this will be the rock ’n’ roll party of the summer.” The tour is co-sponsored my Monster Energy Drinks.

Advance tickets are available at for $35 ($30 for all military, police, fire, and first responders). There will also be a VIP Package limited to 300 people that will include a private cooled tent, a meet ’n’ greet with the bands, free parking, a separate entry gate, swag, food, and drink. VIP tickets are $100. For more information, visit and
