The Park Circle Film Society, the Liberty Hill Improvement Council, and Hilton’s Mortuary will present Spike Lee’s Academy Award-nominated documentary 4 Little Girls at the Felix Pinckney Community Center on Feb. 27.
This film looks at a church bombing by the KKK in Birmingham, Ala., in 1963 that ended the lives of four girls and injured 22 people. The tragic event shocked the nation and galvanized support for the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The screening is $2 for individual tickets. For more information, visit parkcirclefilms.org.
