The deals are beginning to pick up as we head into the slow days of high summer.

On Wednesday nights, Pane e Vino is offering stellar $5 wine and appetizer deals at their outdoor bar. The selections include Italian and New World wines, and the appetizer menu changes weekly. Mostly you’ll find Mediterranean-influenced small plates like parmigiano smoked salmon served on cucumber salad or cured beef served carpaccio style. Light and lush flavors, perfect for a hot summer. The patio will feature a live musician too.

Tonight Kev Rowe, an author and acoustic guitar player, will perform. Pane e Vino is suddenly a very attractive option for that much-needed mid-week pick-me-up.
