Finally, a night of theater for those of us who have trouble staying in our seats. Midtown/Sheri Grace Productions presents Short Attn Span Thtr at the Charleston Acting Studio Blackbox Theatre on March 25-27 at 8 p.m. Ryan Ahlert, co-founder of Midtown, assembled a team of actors, writers, stand-up comics, and cinematographers (including himself) called the "Short Attn Span Players," who collaborate, create, and compile original elements in the production.

The show consists of four short films and three live performances playing back-to-back in the span of one hour, affectively accommodating today’s A.D.D. audience. Ahlert co-wrote and directed the short film “The Awakening,” which is about a young man who finds himself in a little paranormal pickle after a night of drinking. Writers Ahlert and Tom Michal promise that it’ll be better than Dude, Where’s My Car? Head writer Brandon Joyner wrote and directed three short films that will feature in the show, the intro “A Few Brief Announcements,” a “Dunkin’” (about disgruntled doughnut shop workers), and the farewell/recap/wrap-up.  General admission is $8 and $5 for students.
