[image-1] Today Steph Emge, owner of 1813 Reynolds Ave., currently the home of Emge’s brainchild, Park Circle Creative, told City Paper that he is selling the building.

The former location of Tua Lingua, an experimental arts space run by Nathan Petro, which briefly occupied the space last year, 1813 Reynolds Ave. is currently listed for sale for $469,900.

Emge tells us that the sale is at this point “pretty much a done deal.”
[content-1] When we talked to Emge last fall, after his tenant Tua Lingua had moved out, he had big plans for Park Circle Creative, including artist work spaces, a coffee bar, and lots of room for pop-up events.

“I don’t think we’re ever gonna be a King Street gallery, I don’t even want ‘gallery’ in our name,” said Emge. “Because it’s not just a gallery and it’s not just a studio space — I want it to be a lot more things.”

Emge wasn’t unrealistic about the space, though. He asked, “How is that gonna work?”

Meanwhile, Tua Lingua has quietly re-emerged in their former spot at 2701 W Surrey Drive, North Charleston. You can check out upcoming events including live music, figure drawing, and a pottery workshop on their Facebook
