Brainstorming this afternoon for Dish ideas (suggestions welcome).

Wandered over to Gourmet, where I really should spend more time. What a pretty site and packed full of great stuff. Found an older post by Southern food boy extraordinaire John T. Edge on Allan Benton, the TN farmer who’s become famous for his piggy products. It’s a rare menu these days that doesn’t have Benton’s bacon on it and Edge ponders that fact in his piece. He also gives a shout out to Sean Brock’s bacon cotton candy.

Bacon might make for a great feature, what with Brock making his own over at McCrady’s and The Mill serving up bacon martinis in North Chuck.
