Author, actress, and philanthropist Victoria Rowell will be making her second trip to campaign for Hillary in South Carolina on Thursday, December 13. Rowell will stay through the weekend, meeting with senior citizens, community organizers, and other Palmetto State residents to discuss why Hillary is an agent of change and has the experience and qualifications necessary to successfully lead our country as President.
Rowell is a former foster child and best-selling author of “The Women Who Raised Me,” as well as an icon of daytime television in her role as Drucilla Winters on CBS’s highly-rated daytime series, “The Young and the Restless.
Here’s the Lowcountry schedule planned for Saturday:
9 a.m.: Addresses roundtable discussion with foster parents and seniors and the Senior Citizen Center in Hollywood, 6316 Hwy 162.
10:40 a.m.: Presents overview of Hillary’s platform to the Summerville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority at First Missionary Baptist Church, 124 Pressley Avenue, Summerville.
2 p.m.: Attends a Dorchester County Organizational Meeting at Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, 1700 Old Trolley Road, Summverville.
4 p.m.: Attends a meet and greet with North Charleston residents followed at 5 p.m. by the Orphan Aid Society Holiday Party the Jenkins Institute, 3923 Azalea Drive, North Charleston.
