UPDATE: The fine folks at the Charleston Music Hall tell us that Aziz has added a late (9 p.m.) show to the Wed., March 12 stop in Chucktown. The first show is sold out, so act fast, tickets available now through etix.

Charleston is really stepping up its comedy game. In the past year, the Holy City has seen routines from Colin Quinn, Dave Chapelle, and the 11th Charleston Comedy Festival that finished up last week. And it looks like South Carolina native Aziz Ansari is just adding to the list.

He’ll be returning to the Charleston Music Hall on Wed., March 12 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale tonight (Jan. 23) at 8 p.m. and are going for $39 a pop. Purchase tickets here.
And if you need a refresher why you should be pumped for his show — you probably shouldn’t admit that — check out Susan Cohen’s feature on the former science nerd.
