Five local acts are solid for Band Together: Concert for a Cause at the Music Farm on Sat. Sept. 17. The benefit show will feature performances by Ryan Bonner, Mary’s Got a Band, Gaslight Street, Weigh Station, and Dan Wright and the New Beat.

The event is designed to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Research Institute, a New York-based institute dedicated to cancer immunology research worldwide and the treatment, control, and prevention of cancer. Singer/guitarist Wright and his father Doug Wright co-organized the show.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $20 at the door and $15 in advance. Fiery Ron’s Home Team BBQ is the official caterer of the event. For more info, visit bandtogethersc.org and musicfarm.com.
