Congressman Gresham Barrett will be bringing his latest bus tour to the Charleston region tomorrow. Largely billed as a jobs tour, the stop in North Charleston will include a talk about illegal immigration.

It’s a hot topic this week with the recent law passed in Arizona to essentially ask for papers from everybody with a good tan. Barret’s proposal to address undocumented workers can’t be much worse than the “lazy South Carolinians” theory offered by Lt. Gov. André Bauer over the weekend.
