COVID-19 updates: South Carolina health officials reported 755 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, with 19 additional confirmed deaths.
With 5,770 on Sunday, the 13.1 percent of tests came back positive.
As of 2:57 p.m. Oct. 27, via S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control:
Confirmed cases in S.C.: 164,802 (+755)
Positive tests in Charleston County (total): 16,642 (+34)
Negative tests in S.C.: 1,684,428
Deaths in S.C. from COVID-19: 3,602 (+19)
