COVID-19 updates: South Carolina health officials reported 664 cases of coronavirus on Thursday, with 16 additional confirmed deaths.

With 6,995 tests collected, the percent-positive rate was 9.5 percent.

As of 2 p.m. Sept. 24, via S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control:
Confirmed cases in S.C.:  139,021 (+664 new cases since Tuesday)
Percent Positive: 9.5% (down from 11%)
Positive tests in Charleston County (total): 15,395 (+32)
Negative tests in S.C.: 1,118,900
Deaths in S.C. from COVID-19: 3,097 (+16)
