You may have seen Bevi Bene Brewing Company’s brightly painted building leaving downtown on Interstate 26, and starting June 25, you’ll be able to walk inside the lager and hard kombucha brewery with a grand opening ceremony from 12-5 p.m. at 1859 Summerville Ave.

Doors will officially open June 18, joining the upper peninsula’s brewery district and is Charleston’s only lager and hard kombucha brewery.

“Creating a space to gather, be comfortable and enjoy well crafted beverages is what we envisioned,” said Clay Carlisle, brewer and co-founder of Bevi Bene Brewing Co. “We’re thrilled to join such a lively brewery scene in Charleston and are excited to welcome everyone into our space to drink well with us.”

The June 25 grand opening is free to attend and will feature live music from DJ Lazer Cat and bites from local food trucks including Chucktown Meatball Co. and Vibrant Alkaline Vegan Meals. Guests can chat in the taproom or enjoy the outdoor patio to view the custom-painted mural from Savannah, Georgia, muralist JULU
