On Fri. April 18 from 5-8 p.m. a casting crew from the long-running reality TV show Big Brother will be at Loggerhead’s Beach and Grill on Folly to interview Charlestonians interested in appearing on the summertime program. If you dream of becoming one of the housemates, casting director Robyn Kass gave us some advice to help you nail the meeting. “The number one tip I would give to people is don’t come dressed in costumes, don’t come singing and dancing, don’t come with billboards of how much you love the show and want it,” she says. “Be yourself. It’s the best way to get on the show. But come prepared with a couple of stories to share.”

And Kass gave us one last bit of advice, “Come in the middle — the line gets shorter. We never know how many people are going to show up, but the best time is about an hour into the open call.” Auditoners need to be at least 21 years old.
