Just checked out the bEYEcycle photography exhibition, up through the end of the month at Charleston Civic Design Center on Calhoun St.
It shows the winners and other notable submissions to the bEYEcycle competition, which ran with very little fanfare during the summer.
The Civic Design Center is a City initiative to “promote a positive vision for the future of the city” through urban design. But right now it’s doubling as a gallery space and the entries – all featuring bikes – are worth a look if you’re near 85 Calhoun.
The winning photo, an atmospheric low angle black and white shot with a sense of humor, is by Jeffrey Perry. It would be great if the competition ran again next year – this time, with a higher profile and more submissions.
