Unfortunate Comment to One’s Own Mother O’ the Week:
“You’re a dead woman.”
A drunk couple was begging for money on King Street when officers took them in for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. At the police station, the woman turned to her beau and said “I am going to kill you.” Obviously, the honeymoon was over.
A woman contacted police March 25 after finding a note on her car threatening her life, as well as her mother’s, if she didn’t move out of her home within 30 days. She had no idea who was threatening her, but the note’s writer stated he was a white male who lived in West Ashley. That certainly narrows it down.
During a March 23 traffic stop, an officer was about to search a vehicle when the driver noted, “There may be a gun in the car.” Cop Course Lesson #1: When a suspect says there “may” be a gun in the car, there’s a gun in the car.
Unfortunate Comment to an Officer O’ the Week:
“Fuck you! How can you help me mother fucker.”
The longest stream of unfortunate comments ever:
As an officer was walking the Market at closing on a recent Saturday night, a man bumped his shoulder as he walked past. The officer turned to see the man, who shouted to the cop, “Why don’t you suck my dick?” He then said, “What the fuck do you want?” and “I don’t give a shit, lock me up, I make my money.” Unwilling (or likely unable) to provide personal information for a police report, the man was taken to the police station. During transport, he said, “As soon as I get out, watch what happens.” And, upon arrival at the station, he yelled to a female correctional officer, “You’re black, so I’m not even gonna mess with it, I’ll beat your ass.” Man, when Dr. Phil falls off the wagon, he really goes all out.
The Blotter is taken from City of Charleston police department reports. We’ve added a cartoon and a little commentary. We’ve added a little humor, too. No one has been found guilty. This is not a court of law.
