Blotter of the Week: Police responded to a call regarding a verbal disturbance, and found a man who told officers he and his girlfriend had gotten into a fight during which she grabbed his penis and cut it with her fingernails. He didn’t want to press charges and assured officers he was safe.
Bribery will get you … a bigger ticket
A West Ashley man attempted to bribe an officer after being pulled over. He said he would “Cash app” the officer $800, and when that didn’t work, offered $1,600 instead.
We’d love to see the look on their face
A downtown man told police his car had been broken into and his gym bag stolen from inside. We’d love to see the look on a thief’s face if they opened our gym bag to find a pile of rank exercise clothes.
Oh yeah, well there is that
A downtown man reported his motorcycle had been stolen from the front of his residence overnight. He said the bike was black and gold with no distinguishing features, aside from a “gold playboy bunny emblem on the driver’s seat.”
