Brand New has apparently been selling merch that reads “Brand New: 2000-2018.” So, as if you needed another reason to catch them live, keep in mind: this may be the last time to do so.

Tickets for the Oct. 25 North Charleston Performing Arts Center show go on sale this Fri. Aug. 18.

If you are one of the band’s countless rabid fans, then you understand the desire to scream “This is the first song for your mix tape// and it’s short just like your temper” amongst like-minded former emo kids. And, if you listened to “Soco Amaretto Lime” during your high school senior year and cried each time, that’s also understandable.

No details about the new record have been revealed, but this will be the first album the band has released since 2009’s Daisy. Listen to the 2016 teaser single, “I Am a Nightmare,” below.[pullquote-1]
