This week has it rough. It’s the week before Fourth of July and everyone is just trying to get through it so they can blow stuff up and enjoy their celebration of America. So help make this week feel better by checking out some of the great beer events it has going on.

TUESDAY:

Cold beer always tastes better after a good workout. It’s science. And if you don’t believe me, let Frothy Beard Brewing prove it to you with their Frothy Fit Club. Go by the brewery at 7 p.m., run their 45-minute route, then reward yourself with their newly tapped Watermelon Wheat or any of their other 12 beers (or wine) on tap.

Rusty Bull Brewing is hosting its weekly trivia night from 7-10 p.m. where you can show off your music knowledge to win some sweet prizes.

WEDNESDAY:

Mt. Pleasant’s Two Blokes Brewery takes its talents across the bridge to Park Circle for a mini tap takeover at Madra Rua. There will be giveaways, food specials, and lots of good beer, including the brewery’s excellent Throat Charmer Double IPA.

The Community Tap in Greenville is hosting a pre-party from 5-8 p.m. for next month’s Funk Collective festival, which is co-hosted by Revelry Brewery. I realize this isn’t in Charleston, so let this serve as your reminder that the Funk Collective festival happens on July 8 and you need to get tickets now.

THURSDAY:

Another day, another Two Blokes tap takeover. This time they’re staying in Mt. Pleasant and taking five of their beers to Smoke BBQ’s Coleman Boulevard location.

You need to relax. Charles Towne Fermentory is here to help you do that with a Paints & Pints night that will also have massages from Air Massage Therapy. The painting portion is $30 which gets you a half-pint of beer and a two-hour class that will result in your own masterpiece to take home.

Craftsmen Kitchen & Tap House’s weekly Flights & Bites series will feature Charleston’s own Lo-Fi Brewing. The beer and food pairing starts at 7 p.m. and costs $10.

Sharpen your Game of Thrones expertise before the show’s triumphant return next month with Bay Street Biergarten’s GoT trivia night. The person with most knowledge of the Seven Kingdoms and beyond will take home $100.

FRIDAY:

Celebrate the end of your workweek in the most perfect way possible at Freehouse Brewery with organic beers on the Ashley River, live music from Haley Mae Campbell, and delicious chicken sandwiches from Boxcar Betty’s food truck.

SATURDAY:

Park Circle is getting the horns when Rusty Bull Brewing makes its debut in the area with an event at The Brew Cellar from 6-10 p.m. The owners will be on hand serving up some of their latest creations.
