Tues. Sept. 12
Edmund’s Oast Exchange hosts a beer tasting tonight from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Follow the Exchange’s Facebook for deets on what those beers may be.
Run off all those hurricane snacks at Frothy Fit Club, a 45 minute run starting at Frothy Beard brewery at 7 p.m.
Tradesman Brewing is pouring beer from noon-dark today — and offering 20 percent off all pints and growlers.
Wed. Sept. 13
We love sours (exhibit A). Needless to say, we also love Revelry’s Beer Week event, Where the Wild Things R, a pay as you go event starting at 4 p.m. In addition to palate punchers, this event has live music and food from Tobo Sushi.
More running = more beer. Fleet Feet Sports hosts a football-themed pub run at Palmetto Brewing Co. at 6:30 p.m. There will be giveaways after the run. Wednesdays are also burger night at the brewery, with burgers from Graze restaurant, and live music from Dallas Baker & Friends.
Drink local and we do mean LOCAL at the All Charleston Tap Takeover, a CHS Beer Week event, at Closed For Business starting at 5 p.m.
Calling all beer nerds: as part of Beer Week Holy City Brewing hosts a beer nerd trivia night starting at 6:30 p.m.
Thurs. Sept. 14
Drink beer, save turtles at the beer week event of the same name at Holy City Brewing starting at 2 p.m. The Turtle Surveillance Alliance will be at the brewery with some of their turtles.
Get Bendy with Beth Cosi at Rusty Bull Brewing Co. at 6 p.m. this Beer Week event featuring a 45-minute yoga class followed by food from Roti Rolls and King of Pops and spoken word from poet Matt Foley, as well as music from DJ Trailmix.
As part of beer week Bay Street Biergarten hosts a fun happy hour starting at 4 p.m. Partnering with Dogfish Head, drinkers start the evening with a 60 minute IPA at happy hour price for 60 minutes, a 90 minute IPA at HH price for 90 minutes, and a 120 minute IPA at HH price until it’s gone.
Fri. Sept. 15
Summerville’s Homegrown Brewhouse celebrates Oktoberfest with a Bavarian-inspired meal, special half liter Homegrown beer steins, and music from the Summerville Orchestra, all starting at 4 p.m.
Bros love cornhole (we have a whole list of beer bros, by the way). Get your cornhole on at Low Tide Brewing at 7 p.m. For $30 your team gets four pints and the ability to show off your skills. There will be food trucks on site.
Head to Frothy Beard starting at 3 p.m. for Brews & Books with Itinerant Literate Books.
North Charleston’s Mellow Mushroom offers flights from CHS to NY as part of Beer Week starting at 6 p.m. We’re talking all things New York-brewery related. Go Yankees.
Sat. Sept. 16
Low Tide Brewing hosts Suds and Savasana at 11 a.m. with Darcy Mahan. The yoga is $10 — add a pint for an extra $5.
Every Saturday you can get your open mic on at Freehouse Brewery from 4-7 p.m.
Palmetto Brewing’s Saturday show kicks off at 6 p.m. with music from Missy and the Meerkats.
As part of CHS Beer Week, the Brew Cellar throws a block party from noon-6 p.m. Chef Maya Morrill and Fast & French will serve up food and you can check out hard-to-find brews from breweries like D9 Brewing Company, Blackberry Farm, Evil Twin Brewing, Hi-Wire Brewing, and more.
Sun. Sept. 17
Recover from all that Beer Week goodness at Charles Towne Fermentory’s recovery brunch with Short Grain at 10 a.m. After Short Grain departs at 2 p.m. stick around for food from El Pinchotaco until 8 p.m. Broom Wagon Coffee will have their coffee bar set up and Ari Massage will be giving out free massages with the purchase of a beer. Oh, yeah.
Holy City hosts Bendy Brewski Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with 45 minutes of all-levels yoga followed by a flight of beer for $15.
