The housing bubble is showing signs of a slow leak in Charleston County, but it’s nothing compared to the burst seen elsewhere on the coast. Strong drops in the Hilton Head market that began in 2005 have continued to worsen this year and other coastal areas are also seeing year-to-year numbers falling from record highs. Though Charleston’s numbers are down, the Holy City is faring much better then its neighbors.
