Update: Due to weather concerns, the Parks Conservancy has canceled today’s lunch in the park.

The Charleston Parks Conservancy has been busy in the past few months. They’ve been working on major renovation projects at Colonial Lake, St. Julian Devine Community Center, Theodora Park, and their ambitious plans to add a cafe and event space to Hampton Park. Not to mention ongoing work maintaining a few dozen parks all over town.

Well tomorrow, you can get caught up on what they’ve been up to and grab a bite to eat downtown at Hampton Park at ‘Out to Lunch with the Conservancy.’ From 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. the group hosts a few of our favorite food trucks near the pond and will have a few games set up so you can kill some time before you have to head back to work.

On the menu: Outta My Huevoes, Roadside Seafood, Short Grain, King of Pops, and Cannonborough Beverage Co. Of course, there’s free parking and wi-fi. We’ll see you there!
