Join an existing team or start your own — with your pet included — for Paws in the Park, a benefit for Lowcountry animals without a home. The Charleston Animal Society provides food, shelter, medical care, and compassion to more than 11,000 homeless animals each year and they need your help. By walking for our area’s homeless animals, you are giving the Charleston Animal Society the means to care for needy animals and saving lives.

Participants are invited to bring their own pets to partake in the all-day event featuring, in addition to the walk, games, food, and other activities to be enjoyed by animals and families alike. This year’s event will have local animal experts and veterinarians in attendance providing information to keep your pet healthy, as well as educational exhibits with animals from all sectors of the animal kingdom.

For donation and registration information about supporting Paws in the Park, visit the Charleston Animal Society’s website.

Happy walking to all participants, whether it be upright or on all fours.
