The Charleston Farmers Market is making its return to Marion Square in an essentials-only format Saturday due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
All vendors and visitors will be required to wear masks and maintain social distance throughout the opening and all subsequent events as well as follow all other CDC protocols, according to a press release.
No prepared food vendors, entertainment or other activities will be included in the market, which will instead feature farmers and growers, packaged food vendors, artisans and craftsmen.
Sanitation stations will be set up and available throughout the market-space, as well as signs directing visitors safely from vendor to vendor.
The market will open 8 a.m.-1 p.m. every Saturday beginning April 10 and will remain on that schedule through the remainder of the season. Follow @charlestonfarms on social media for more information.
