[image-1] Local designers and artists draw on the city’s history to create a modern re-imagination of textiles for a one-night-only event, Reimagined Fashion. The Charleston Museum hosts this pop-up exhibition and historic textiles reception on Thurs. March 14, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets for this exclusive evening cost $45 for Charleston Museum members and $55 for non-members and can be purchased online.

For Reimagined Fashion, the Charleston Museum joined forces with local blogger and stylist Andrea Serrano a.k.a. Charleston Shop Curator. Guests will have the opportunity to view the museum’s historic textiles collection while also seeing its designs effortlessly combined with modern Southern design flare in pieces that range from dresses to works of art.

Their designs implement historical fashion pieces from 200 years ago. On top of seeing southern fashion’s past melding with the current moment, guests can enjoy refreshments and light hors-d’oeuvres at the reception.

Many Charleston artists and designers will be creating a masterpiece for this event including Kristy Bishop, Kristen Fanarakis (Senza Tempo), Danielle Hosker (Mason Hosker), Emily Kotarski, Lauren Lail (Library by Lauren Lail), Daniel Velasco, and Carrie Beth Waghorn.
