The Charleston Music Hall has had success screening films about music over the past year (including Stop Making Sense, Biophilia, and The Last Waltz), and they’ve decided to start a film series to continue the trend of merging music and movies. 

Check out the first movie in the series next month on May 20 when CMH screens Who is Gil Scott-Heron? The film explores the life of Scott-Heron, a hip-hop artist who died in 2010, through the eyes of his friends and family. Check out the rest of the schedule below.
