Charleston Restaurant Week returns to the Lowcountry Sept. 9-19, Explore Charleston announced in a press release Tuesday.

More than 50 local restaurants from downtown Charleston to Summerville will participate in the 11-day event that “offers patrons the opportunity to explore and enjoy world-renowned cuisine from Charleston area chefs as participating restaurants offer specially-selected lunch and dinner menus.”

Last fall’s Charleston Restaurant Week was canceled and replaced by the “Eat Local. Dine or Dash” initiative that offered diners deals for dine-in and takeout, with the goal of supporting local restaurants reeling from the pandemic.

This year, look for 2-4 course meals priced between $18-$60. Butcher & Bee, 82 Queen, Pink Cactus, Halls Chophouse, Rudy Royale and Wiki Wiki Sandbar are some of the participating restaurants.
