Some of Charleston’s civil liberties champions are joining forces to celebrate Black History Month. The ACLU of South Carolina, League of Women Voters, NAACP of Charleston, and YWCA invite you to join them for a screening of Legacy: Black and White in America, an acclaimed documentary about the history of racism in the U.S. The PBS documentary also highlights African-American leaders of our time, including that guy at 1600 Pennsylvannia Ave. Admission is free, but an RSVP is required, which can be done through the ACLU website, aclusouthcarolina.org. The screening will be held Thurs. Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m., at the Morris Brown AME Church, 13 Morris St.
