It’s really good that New Belgium Brewing’s Clips of Faith has free admission: It means you’ll have more money to spend on their beer. The national tour of short independent films — from animation to documentaries to a talking beer bottle sketch comedy — is making another stop at Marion Square on Thurs. Sept. 22 at 7 p.m.

In 2010, the event raised $1,800 for Charleston Moves, who will also be this year’s beneficiary. One of this year’s clips, about a Charleston oyster man, comes from locals Farrah Hoffmire and Mitchell Davis, formerly of Giddy Goat Cheese.

Bring chairs, blankets, food (or buy some from local vendors), and some cash for New Belgium’s 14 different brews. It’s a nice way to kick off your Charleston Green Fair weekend.

Check out the Clips of Faith website for a trailer.
